We have three sets of ISAK 9 cubes in school that the pupils use to engage in a variety of curricular areas.

What are ISAK 9 Cubes?

ISAK 9 Cubes are a hands-on learning resource made up of nine interconnecting cubes, each printed with different symbols, colours, numbers, or images. They can be arranged, rotated, stacked, and reconfigured in many ways, making them a powerful manipulative for active learning across the curriculum.

Rather than working only on paper or screens, pupils use the cubes to think with their hands, turning abstract ideas into something they can see, touch, and explore.

How do ISAK 9 Cubes support pupil engagement?
